WHY WE BUILT THIS

Less searching.
More getting out.

There’s a lot going on in the Treasure Valley. Finding it shouldn’t mean checking a dozen venue websites, scrolling through Facebook, and hoping you didn’t miss something great in the next town over.

We started Treasure Valley Events Guide to make local plans easier—for families looking for Saturday activities, friends planning a night out, couples finding something different to do, and anyone who wants to support the places that make this valley feel like home.

THREE QUESTIONS. ONE LOCAL GUIDE.

What do you feel like doing?

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

A guide built for locals, not another endless feed.

Organizer-first facts

We research possible events from a variety of places, then require an identifiable organizer or venue source before an event can appear in our approved listings. Each listing has a link so you can double-check plans and ticket details yourself.

The whole Treasure Valley matters

Boise is only part of the story. We’re building coverage for Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Middleton, Garden City and Emmett too. Some cities have fewer listings while we expand our sources—we won’t pad the calendar with guesses.

Useful recommendations, not made-up ratings

We want to explain why a place or event might be worth your time. We don’t invent specials, pretend we visited somewhere we haven’t, or copy somebody else’s reviews to create fake rankings.

Transparent and correctable

Events change. Sources can be incomplete. Our listings are a dated research snapshot—not a guarantee of admission, availability or accuracy at the door. See a mistake? Tell us and we’ll review it.

HOW WE BUILD TRUST

What the checkmark actually means

Our source-reviewed checkmark means the listing was approved using identifiable organizer or venue information, with a documented date, start time, location and source link. It does not mean we own or operate the event, have confirmed tickets are still available, or rechecked the organizer today.

We include the date of the last recorded review when available. If the link opens a general organizer calendar rather than a specific event page, we label it as a calendar. Please confirm the latest details directly with the organizer before going.

Local venues and neighbors can submit events and tips; suggestions go through review before being published. For questions and partnerships, email hello@thetreasurevalleyguide.com. This project is independent and not affiliated with event organizers or Boise State University.

HELP MAKE THE VALLEY EASIER TO EXPLORE

Know something we missed?

Recommend a local event, tell us about an under-the-radar spot, or help correct a listing. The best guide is one the community can help improve.
