Privacy & data use
Last updated October 16, 2026. Treasure Valley Events Guide is an independent local events project.
Information you submit
If you submit an event or sign up for updates, we may receive your name, email address and event details. Netlify may process form submissions for the site operator. Do not submit private information about others.
Location photos and permissions
If you submit a park or golf-course photo, we collect the image and optional photographer credit for private editorial review. We only publish images where an appropriate license or permission has been documented. Uploading a photo is not a guarantee of publication; submit only photos you created or have the necessary rights to share. You can request removal via our contact page.
How information is used
We use submissions to review community events, respond to questions and maintain a list of people who consented to updates. Joining the interest list does not mean the newsletter is currently being sent.
Event information
Public listings may contain an organizer name, event location and official source link. Submitted events are reviewed before publication. Information can change; please confirm details with organizers.
Reviews and tracking
The test site does not operate a public review system and does not publish copied Google or Yelp reviews. The Event Match quiz is processed in your browser; selections are not sent to our server by the quiz.
Contact and removal requests
Use the contact form or email hello@thetreasurevalleyguide.com to ask about a listing, correction or personal information. You may request deletion of information you provided. Email delivery, when implemented, will include an unsubscribe mechanism.
